Re-brand product already sold to customer
We sell private labeled products to our customers as well as products branded with our identity.
In other words, a customer can purchase a Widget with our name or a Widget with their name on the cover. It's the same product, different branding. We maintain separate inventory for each different branded product.
I have a situation where a customer has purchased 10 widgets with our branding and have since decided they want to order products with THEIR branding. They want to send back the 10 widgets with our brand we already sold them and have them re-branded to their identity.
I would like to keep the transaction trail from the original sale as well as track the new, re-branded products as they are a different inventory item.
