Defining kits - limitations
I'm stumped. Netsuite has this cool kit feature, that allows me to define a number of items that *might* be ordered at some point. For many people selling "things", this is a great feature in that you don't have to commit inventory to a separate SKU.
But herein lies the rub...
When defining a kit, it seems as though you can't define a unit of measure for any members. This is counter-intuitive, because if you want to use a kit you need to calculate out how many base units you have in the kit.
Example - I have 6 pieces of a certain product in a case. In my kit, I want 6 cases. My default unit for selling is a case, yet I cannot use that unit of measure in the kit.
