Due Date VS Transaction Date
Can someone explain the AR reporting and statement generation impact between Due Date and Transaction Date options in the accounting set up? We originally selected due date but because of discrepancies between aging reports and actual statements, I recently toggled it to age from transaction date. It fixed some discrepancies but brought up more questions. I am confused ...I think it has to do w/ my understanding ( or lack of ) of the 2 choices. Any input would be appreciated.
