How to prevent user from dating transaction in closed period
I had a user Fulfill and Bill an order today (10/1) for an old order they missed in July. They dated the transaction 7/27. July is a closed period. They say they got no warnings when posting the transactions. Both transactions had a Posting Period of October 07, but I report by date, not Posting Period, so this would have totally messed up my reporting if I had not happened to have caught it. Can NetSuite be set up such that no one can date a transaction in a closed period?
Thanks,
Scott
