Long part numbers on forms
Simple question: How do I control the display of parent items before a part number on forms and in the webstore?
We have a lot of items. To help us manage these items we have used parent items to sort them. Such as Capacitors : Brand Name : Voltage : Part Number.
When we set this up we did not realize that all the parent part numbers would be listed on forms, making it very difficult to read. We have been working around it until now. When we create work orders, the part numbers cannot be read because they get cut off on the right side of the page. Also, customers cannot simply enter a part number on the webstore, they have to type all of the parent items first, making quick ordering impossible.
