Budget in Non-Currency Units?
Is it possible to create a budget in non-currency units? Instead of $ I need a budget in LBS (weight).
Basically the sales team is given a budget in pounds of product that they must sell. Since the price can fluctuate based on market conditions, they want to use the product weight in pounds as their budget vs actual comparison.
Has anyone done anything like this?
Any ideas?
For each Item I can calculate the product weight to use as the Actual. I thought of creating a customer record to use as budget, but I don't see how I could add data from that as another column in sales report.
