I searched through the previous threads, but could not find the answer to this question.  We have kits that are made of a single member.  Basically, we sell a die-cast car display case on the web site that can also be used as a doll display case.  In order to sell it as two separate items, I created a die-cast car item and then made a kit called "doll display case" with the die-cast car case as the single member. 

Today, we had our first order for the doll display case.  On the sales order and packing slip, the doll display case is back ordered, even though there is plenty of inventory of the single member of the kit.  I entered the sales order, and cannot find a way to get around this.
