Sales Orders - Sales = ? Report

Im trying to find out which report will give me the remainder after getting the value of the sales order by customer report minus that of the sales by customer report. There is a difference between the two, normally backorders or items not yet sent and i would like to find out what these items are. Thanks in advance.
