Receive goods not previously entered in Purchase order

Wondering if anyone has a way to work around this.

Sometimes, we receive additional items or freebies together in additional to what is in a purchase order that we have submitted. So, essentially, there is no way to check that item off as "Received".

We want to keep track of those extras somewhere.
