cant delete edit or reconcile hundreds of transactions

I have a credit card account that some how got changed to a bank account.  We cant change the account back but we had hundreds of transactions from last year we need to reconcile so we can finaly close our books and file our taxes, but we cant edit those transactions at all.  Any ideas?
