How do we move Unapproved Cash sale to Accounts Receivable?

We process 500 to 1000 recurring transactions a day. When a credit card payment declines, it deposits to a non-posting account.

These declined payments should actually be shown in our accounts receivable. Any ideas how to show these correctly, short of manually creating an invoice and deleting the cash sale?
