Cannot delete Saved Search

We just started using NS not long ago, but we're starting to have too many obsolete saved searches. When trying to delete them, I get:

This record cannot be deleted, because it is referred to by other records.

Does anyone know how to check what records these are and how to remove the link between them? Or any other best practice to clear my saved search panel of the clutter?
