Keyboard entry of item numbers

Due to the formatting of my item numbers. For example "TR45W" or "TR45"
If I enter TR45W I can Tab from one field to the next.  But TR45 brings up this Choose Item screen.
Is there a setting in Netsuite that will make keyboard entry of sales order more efficient.
