substituting parts of an assemblies.
We build bicycle wheels and each type of hub / rims uses different length spokes. Each spoke length is its own inventory items.
I am trying to find a way to properly "build" and keep track of these items. The big problem I am having is they are in 1mm increments and we can substitute +/-1mm and there is left / right sides of the wheel so each side could use 3 different length spokes.
If i use "Assemblies" and change the assemblies to the substitute then change it back after filling the order. Looking at the sales order I would not know that a substitute was done.
