Automatic Lot Number entering on Sales Orders
We have just started to explore if Lot Numbers would work for our business since our products have a expiry date and of course manufactured in lots.
We intend to ship all our inventory items according to FIFO (first-in-first-out) principle.
However, while entering the Sales Order, the CSR has to manually choose the Lot Number and the quantities. This is extremely cumbersome given that each order has several items.
I know we can queue Bin Numbers but is there a way to do the same with Lot Numbers OR default the Lot Number with the earliest expiry date.
