Deleting duplicate Fixed Asset entries?

we have a handful of duplicated assets that came over when we migrated from QB to NS.  We didn't notice until after running depreciation.  I cannot delete the assets since depreciation has been run.  Is there another way to remove these (non-existant) assets from the books or do i just need to dispose of them, JE them off the GL and make a note of it on the asset record?  thanks in advance.
