Sales Tax Updates

edited Nov 11, 2014 1:52PM in Accounting / ERP 6 comments

In reading through the help section on Sales Tax Updates, it mentions the below.  I'm a bit confused if we manually have to upload new sales tax rates or if NetSuite updates these every month.  Any clarification here would be great.

"NetSuite enables you to import up-to-date sales tax codes for the states in which you charge sales tax. To keep your state sales tax tables up-to-date, you must upload tax rates when updates become available.

Each month, NetSuite updates its database table that stores the tax rates for all US states. The Version field on the State Tax Import page indicates the date of the most recent update."

Howdy, Stranger!
