Re-opening closed periods - What should I worry about?

Good morning,

What are the specific, system pitfalls for reopening a closed period? I'm aware of the issue with items (changes in GL accounts on the item record will be applied retroactively to transactions when prior periods are reopened). Anything else? Anything specific to OneWorld?
