Special Order PO Items "stuck"

I'm stuck with some items that are inventory, but won't get involved with any other transactions. Here's what happened:

A Sales Order created, and it's an item only this customer buys, so one of my purchasers created a Special Order Purchase Order from the SO. The vendor couldn't ship all of the items at once, so the customer revised their order and we split the SO into two separate orders. This was done by reducing the quantity from 15 to 10 in the original order and creating another order for the other 5 pieces. We got the first 10 pieces and fulfilled the original order. Now we have received the other 5 and they seem to be stuck in
