Special Order vs. Drop Ship P.O.'s-how to tell?

Is anyone aware of a way to determine if a user clicked the Special Order vs. Drop Ship from a sales order?  My Created From field shows the sales order but I am trying to understand if the user accidentally clicked the wrong option from the sales order.  I have searched though the available fields on a transaction search and have not been able to find anything like a "sub-type" field.
