Duplicate Transaction Numbers - Ongoing problem

We're experiencing an issue that seems to be getting worse, and I'm not sure how to resolve.  We have 2-3 people entering sales orders...typically it's only one person doing the bulk of order entry, however we're seeing continued increase in duplicate Sales Order #'s as our order volume increases that NetSuite is not catching.  This is with 1 person entering 80% of the orders.  I'm worried about the impact when we have duties evenly split between 3 people.  Anyone else dealing with this?  Resolution?
