Import goof and how to mass delete records.

edited Dec 3, 2019 1:14PM in Account Administration 22 comments

Greetings,

Have completed numerous successful .csv test imports, but somehow I have "imported" over 500 bogus customer records? Only data contained in bogus records is "ID" (all other data fields=null). I would now like to delete these unneeded records, but can't find anything in help, faqs, forum or elsewhere re mass delete? The records that I would like to delete are ID=654331 through 654899. Any tips/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,

W.C. Martin

...also curious what might have caused this anomaly?  I did a test import with a single record where ID=654330, other fields imported correctly. I didn't notice the empty records for a few days, simply because I normally look at the records sorted by ID, and the empty set was at the end of my other records, so may not be an import issue at all? Again, appreciate any opinions.

Howdy, Stranger!
