Mandatory Field Missing for field "Internal ID"

I've imported several hundred times before. I know how to make a CSV file with two columns of data.  I have one for "Internal ID" and it is labeled "Internal ID". The other column is the data I'm importing.  Every time I try the CSV import, I get the error "Mandatory Field Missing for the field Internal ID". Why? Glitch? Anyone else?
