We have an online registration form to attract developers interested in customizing my client's product. The online form creates a lead in NetSuite.

Problem is that the lead comes in as a "customer" record and once we approve them, we want to make them a partner and give them access to a modified Partner Center. You can't assign a Partner Center role to a "customer record" so is there a way to change the "customer record" to a "partner record" -- easily, without having to retype all the data captured in the initial registration?
