Expense Report approval

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. 

My Sales manager who normally approves expense reports and is listed as supervisor for all the sales people is going on vaca and wants me to approve them while she is gone.  So, to make sure it would work we tried to have me look at them and make sure I was familiar, but I cannot see them.  Is that because I am not listed as their supervisor.  I am the Netsuite Administrator and cannot even see them in that role. 

Any ideas?
