accessing search results in Portlet
Hi All,
I have a saved search that Im executing. I want to display the results in a portlet. Here is the code that Im using:
function ytdSalesTest(portlet) { portlet.setTitle( 'Testing' ); var searchresults = nlapiSearchRecord( 'transaction', 1398, null, null ); for ( var i = 0; searchresults != null && i < searchresults.length ; i++ ) { var searchresult = searchresults[ i ]; var result = searchresult.getValue( 'totalamount' ); portlet.writeLine(i.toString()); portlet.writeLine(result, null, 1); } }When I execute this search via a browser I get 19 records back including a date and Amount. When I execute it via script and try to display the result in a portlet....I continually get NULL as the value regardless of what I put into the getValue() call. Ive put in total, totalamount, total (sum), amount...etc.
