Stop a customer record from being created
Is there a simple way to stop a lead/customer record from being created when submitted through online or web registration forms?
I know I can work around it with server-side scripting but was wondering if there is a very simple way to stop the creation of a customer record if it matches certain criteria (e.g. bogus email addresses, etc).
The only way I'm thinking this can be done is either force an error (which would display and don't want to do that), or wait until it is created and run 'afterSubmit' to delete it.
Appreciate some help if it's known.
