Unable to upload JavaScript files

Don't exactly know why this stopped working all of a sudden, but I'm trying to upload javascript files into the suitescript file cabinet and it's not working. For some reason they are being uploaded as file type "TEXT" and not "Javascript". I can't create Suitelets because the files are not available in the dropdown list. Any ideas?
