Checking item records with SuiteScript
Hello everyone,
we have deployed a script that checks if a custom field on an opportunity (a checkbox field) is checked (Yes) or not (No). If the field value is "No" then the sales rep is not allowed to create an estimate against that opportunity until a sales manager approves the opportunity by changing the value of the checkbox field on a form that is not accessible to the sales reps.
Now comes the key issue - currently the ONE work-around to this system is to create an opportunity, get it approved and then go back and change the opportunity and issue new estimates.
