BFO Pdf generations - use existing PDF as template?
I need to create a PDF form and was thinking of using the BFO stuff with nlapiXMLToPDF(). The first "snag" I've run into is how to modify an existing PDF. As there is no nlapiPDFToXML I don't see how I can use a saved PDF as a base for a custom PDF. This seems like something many users would want to do, I mean if you can define layout, images, fonts, etc. in a designer then only modify the dynamic bits that seems to be the best approach.
I tried googling for convert PDF to BFO xml in hopes there would be a utility to at least generate the XML for me, then I could store that as a File Cabinet asset and load up as a base to work with.
