Suite Script on Item Group Members on a Purchas Order

Hi all!

Right, where to begin... I am hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with some suitescript I am trying to implement. I'll start with the 'challenge'

I need to take a value from a custom currency field on an item group and deduct that from the 'Rate' on the first line item within that group. I can grab the value from the custom field on the group when the line is added, but then I can't seem to get a script to fire when the group automatically adds the subsequent line items.

Does anyone know how can I get a script to fire when the group members are added?
