Validation on the DATE field

Hi all,


I need some tips on the validation of DATE field.


On the online form, these is a DATE field, require an entry of DATE in the format "YYYY/MM/DD"

When any end users enter the date in "MM/DD/YYYY", the field automatically re-format into "YYYY/MM/DD"


However, the date is not correct anymore...
Are there anyway I can put a validation on the Date field ??
