nlapiXMLToPDF and the print button on Proposals

I am looking to build a proposal contract with nlapiXMLToPDF and I would like to make this custom PDF be the layout used for specific transaction forms. So when a user clicks the print button the custom one is used. Is that possible?


How else can I get a custom PDF to be printed out by the form. I suppose I could always throw up a script parameter to check for custom form id's and place another button on the form. Really though, I would like to supplant the default print button so as to not cause undue confusion among users (*cough* sales).
