Setting "account" on transaction line

edited Dec 2, 2019 5:59PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 2 comments

Hi all,

I am trying to overwrite the line level "account" on a transaction using a UserEvent script after save which polls through lines and changes the default account to a Custom Income Account.

The script is firing and using debug entries, I can monitor the script doing the get of the new account, putting the value into the standard account field and, for good measure, I then do a get on the standard account filed and the new value is there.

Problem is that when you inspect the GL Impact or view the transaction in xml (&xml=t in the url), the Income Account value has reverted back to the default income account for the Item on the line.

Howdy, Stranger!
