Invoke a suitelet from a button in the Customer Form?

Hi,

I am new to Suitelets. I have made a suitelet that builds a form for a survey.
I need to invoke the suitelet from a customer custom  form, and pass the customer internalid as a parameter so that my suitelet can do some processing before showing the form.
How can I invoke the suitelet from a button in the Customer Form or a custom subtab?

In what event can I trigger to call the suitelet (have tried doing it in the before load)

I'll appreciate any help! Thx
