sending mail via scheduled script

Hello all,

We are trying to send an automated mail after scheduled script run is completed.

but we are not able to achieve the same. ( Mail not being sent /recieve into our mailbox )

Is there any trick we are missing .
Would it be possible to provide sample coding for sending mail using lnapisendmail();

is there any mail configuration we need to do before testing.
