SSO redirect_uri NS Script issue

Can anyone tell me, how you supply an NS script/ form for an Oauth2 redirect_uri?
I'm asking this since an app would require you to specify something like
https://system.na1.netsuite.com/your_file.extension

but references to "items" in NS typically look like
(script) :

https://system.na1.netsuite.com/app/site/hosting/scriptlet.nl?script=123&deploy=1&compid=TSTDRV12346578

When I register this with the app I believe it is splitting off the parameters that (pseudo) make up the URI for the script.

Now I could be going about this entirely wrong but NetSuite help are as much use as a chocolate teapot right now so I'm hoping some kind soul can direct me.
