Anyone willing to help a total newbie?

Hello,

I have been tasked with doing some SuiteScript stuff in NS (what it is isn't important at this point). I'm still trying to figure out how to do the simplest thing in SuiteScript. For example, I'd be pleased if I could put a button or a tab on an existing form. Or perhaps creating a new form that really does nothing except appear. It doesn't really matter, but I would like to do some small thing related to a given form (or a tab on the form - I'm not clear about that distinction) - or is it page?
