Popup window size

In searches I have found several threads that share my complaint but unfortunately no solutions.  Has anyone figured out a clever way to control the popup window size?   My company uses the New Customer popup from the Sales Order form and I am regularly asked if I can force that popup to be larger as most of the fields do not show.  I have not been able to figure anything out.
