Acquiring Company Name In Client Script

This seems like it would be an easy enough task but I haven't figured it out yet. Is there a way to get the company name of the account your in within a client script. In a server-side script I can load the configuration record with nlapiLoadConfiguration('companyinformation') and get the company name from there but this api is not available client-side and I haven't figured out another way to get it. Maybe a search could find it? Any ideas would be nice.
