How to get URL of a file without loading the contents
I've written a library I want to work in a browser or on the server side. It looks like this...
var myLibraryNamespace = {
getURLofFile: function(fileUNCpath) {
var f = nlapiLoadFile(fileUNCpath);
return f.getURL();
}
}
It is my understanding that nlapiLoadFile() returns an nlobjFile object which includes the base-64 encoded contents of the file. That's a lot of overhead on the client side. What I'm really after is this, which doesn't work.
nlapiResolveURL('RECORD', 'FILE', fileUNCpath);
Is there a way on the client side to get just the URL, without all the extra overhead?
