Webmaster Tools reports 404 pages

Has anyone else seen this:

Google is reporting web crawl errors for a customer site. The errors are that it gets a 404 error when attempting to retrieve some url myhost/s.nl/id.A/id.3942/pwdreset.jsp

NS support claims this is because the site has a custom login page that's linked incorrectly from the item drilldown pages. I cannot find any such link nor any evidence in the account that they've ever had a custom login page.

Any ideas?
