Preview New Theme

So I'm finally trying to create a new Theme to our Netsuite hosted website.  I'm having some difficulties with the "Preview" feature for the new theme as I do not want to disturb the existing site as we are rolling out a completely different color scheme in this new theme. 

The problem I'm having is I've created a new Item Drill Down Template and even though it's listed on this new theme, our current drill down template seems to come up.  I don't know where else to check but I'm hoping to be able to "Preview" the entire site before rolling it out to the public.  I assumed that's what the Preview button was for.
