custom records with entities?

Hi,

I am trying to setup a custom record with a field referring to entities.

However, the listbox does show concrete entities like customer and vendors, but not the "abstract" entity.

I do not see any reason why fields should be limited to concrete entities.

Has anybody an idea why?
