Mapping time zone/location to geographic category

Hello,

We would like to somehow map the location (state/province) along with its corresponding timezone to a specific geographic category. This would drive the type of support available to our customers as they would have to be in x timezone/terrirory to receive y type of support. Is there a way to accomplish this?
