Filters ignored when search results emailed

I had just an embarrassing situation when I sent someone a filtered search result via the nice little yellow email button.  They replied back "Uh.. did you mean to send me this?" and sure as hell the entire email results were in the email.  The filter was ignored completely.

Is this a know issue?  Anyone else encounter this?

Just another "feature" to avoid and instruct everyone to not use....
