Custom Sublist Using Memorized Transaction Search?

I'm trying to build a custom sublist to display memorized transactions associated with a customer on a customer entry form.  I can successfully do this when searching transactions, but not when searching memorized transactions.  The search itself works, but it does not appear on the list of available searches when I try to create the custom sublist.  Does anyone know if memorized transaction searches are for some reason not supported by the custom sublist functionality?  Thanks.
