Email Preference-- I can't seem to bring it up in a saved search??

Hi-

I want to be able to globally set emailpreference to PDF. I did it using a csv to modify them, but there should be some way to access this field via script to make sure it is always set to PDF across all customers at all times...

I can import/export this field (csv), and when logged in as admin the field help popup gives the field ID of 'emailpreference'...

However, for some reason I can't seem to access it through a saved search-- in fact even using Formula(text)={emailpreference} I get a "field not found" error...

Any ideas?
