Added column in search

I created a search and in the results it shows the amounts of each purchase order.  I would like to have the amounts add up to a total at the bottom of the column...Is that possible and if so how do I do that?  The only way I think I can do it is by putting the search into an excel sheet.  I am trying to avoid that step.
