Sort by multiple Formula fields

There was mention of this idea in a previous thread, but I am not sure if there is any way to accomplish this:

Can you sort by more than one Formula (xyz) column in a saved search?

For example, if you have 2 or more Formula (Numeric) columns/fields in the search, is there any way to sort by any other than the first?

We have found that not only is it not available in the saved search, but even when running the search and attempting to click on any Formula (Numeric) field other than the first one, the search only sorts / orders by the first Formula (Numeric) field.
